Your first key is stored securely by BitOasis and protected with password/2FA.

Signing a transaction with this key is not enough to spend your bitcoin. All spend transactions must be signed by at least two keys to be authorized. BitOasis will sign using this key when you log in and initiate a spend or sell transaction from your account. Once signed, BitOasis sends your transaction to BitGo for security verification. Signing with this key alone is not enough to spend your bitcoins. A signature from a second key is required to complete the transaction.

Independent Security Key
Your second key is stored securely by BitGo, who will also perform necessary security and fraud prevention checks.

As a co-signer, BitGo receives your transaction signed by BitOasis and performs the necessary security and fraud checks to protect your holdings and counter-signs with the second key. If the transaction looks suspicious, you will receive an automated phone call asking you to confirm and approve the transaction.

Recovery Key
Your third key is used to recover your funds in case of a service compromise.

The safeguarding of your recovery key will be managed by an independent legal firm. Unlike other Bitcoin wallets, BitOasis does not require you to print and secure the Recovery key. We understand that this can be cumbersome and is prone to loss or theft. Instead, an independent legal firm will manage the protection of the Recovery key. In case of emergency or any service compromise, the lawyer will oversee the process of returning all bitcoin funds to owners.
